Update on "I Love Snow"

Well then, this is an update to the previous assignment. With my hectic schedule, it is difficult to maintain the blog on a regular basis. I am, however, trying my best.

I decided to do an "update", or a new piece actually, because Miss Swati mentioned that the snow globe does not encapsulate the gist of the assignment given. Hence, I have decided to revamp that particular assignment.

And here it is :

If you have read the previous post, I mentioned the reasons why I love snow. In any case, I hope the new edited product would be better in pointing out why I love snow.

Firstly, I have chosen to use snowflakes to epitomize snow. In my opinion, snowflakes tell the story of my love for snow vividly. Hence, I decided to create a picture of snowflakes falling to accentuate the effect.

Secondly, my choice of font and its colour (white) helps to show the snow falling. I chose to present the letters as "detached" and "unaligned" because I wanted to symbolize the falling of the letters along with the snowflakes, presenting a "free-fall" effect.

Lastly, I edited the font to make it resemble the scratches on ice. I did this because I wanted to produce the effect of the snowflakes being cold. The sharp corners of the letters symbolizes the angularity of ice, which further accentuates the effect which I have mentioned.

That is all for this edit. I will further edit it in time to come.
