–Capture it in your sketch/drawing in a way that it tells a story (as against “freezing time” kind of image)
In this picture, there are different forms of interpretation depending on the reader. For example, you don't know for sure if the guy is checking the girl out, or is he checking the "no smoking" sign out.
From the freeze-frame exercise, I realise that in a freeze-frame concept such as a photograph, we as viewers may have different interpretations of the same thing. The freeze-frame captures still life, or it may capture a certain angle of a whole object, thereby distorting the original meaning of the object. Hence, I have begun to understand that being a photographer is not such a easy job after all. They have to focus their energies upon capturing the image in their minds before they snap the shot.
